Likes Publishing began in the early 1990s as a place for individuals to have their family research published. Books ranged from a handful of pages to volumes of 1,000+ pages. Phyllis and Homer Likes devoted years to the art of putting histories down on paper. Their grandsons, Jared Likes and Justin Likes, helped with the editing, layout, and formatting of numerous books. Phyllis retired in 2010. Unfortunately, do to a hard drive failure, all previous published family history files have been lost.

Likes Publishing returned in 2015 under the direction of Phyllis and Homer's granddaughter, Kelley M Likes...

Hi, my name is Kelley M Likes. I am a wife, mother of 5, retired business/technology teacher, Storyteller Academy & SCBWI member, and moderator to an 8 times a month critique group. I hold an A.A., B.S., M.Ed., & Ed.S. I am a mini-stroke survivor and brain tumor host.

Before she died, my grandmother handed over the keys to Likes Publishing to me. Now, as I’ve regained my ability to write, I’m ready to make Likes Publishing a name in the publishing world. 

Now-a-days, we publish a variety of books, including: print, audio, and e-book, of our own creation, as well as, others of interest.
